AllDentalProdx focuses on innovative dental
care products & dental supplies needed for
practitioners to succeed in their mission to
their patients.
An Open Letter to Dental Offices
“Routine checkups are linked to the economy, so
as the economy slows more people will forego
preventative checkups. Corporations, facing less
revenue, will look to cut costs by eliminating
employee benefits like dental insurance. With
fewer patients in the marketplace, price wars
may occur between dental practices.”(Clark G.
Moffat, CFP, RFC, GEPC)
If this viewpoint has merit, then it is
important for us as manufacturers to be keyed in
to the most basic aspects of our mission -
offering dental practices only those products of
measurable and reliable benefit. In this way we
can be sure that practices using our materials
will compete in winning ways for the
discretionary consumer dollar.
Moreover, since the dental doctor is really our
‘front line’ in medical discovery for patients,
our role to support the practice becomes even
more important. Patients may be unaware of the
association between periodontal disease and
heart disease, for example. Early detection and
protection through routine visits to the
practitioner can do more than save teeth – it
can save lives.
Since 1997 ALL DENTAL PRODX has focused on
innovative products necessary for practitioners
to succeed in their mission to their patients.
We have stayed away from over-populated
categories where another ‘me too’ entrant would
confuse the marketplace rather than add unique
value. And within the last few years we have
brought a new focus to our roster of innovation
through creating a new category we call “Patient
Comfort Management” products.
We believe that managing the patient’s comfort
beyond simple pain management is in fact a key
issue for strong Practice Management. Too often
Practice Management is limited to discussions of
greater efficiency to promote higher return and
of political correctness. We believe patient
retention and greater treatment plan acceptance
can also be achieved through greater
understanding and responses to the patient’s
experience during their visit. We do not call
this ‘Spa Dentistry’. We certainly don’t believe
that our professional dental team now need to
embrace the areas of massage and pedicures. We
think Spa Dentistry really attempts to address –
perhaps in an overboard manner – this simple
idea of management, not of the pain of the
patient alone, but of the patient’s overall
comfort during their visits to the practice.
